International Service Engineer Industrial Refrigeration

Position

As an International Service Engineer Industrial Refrigeration, you are the technical point of contact on site at the client. You work primarily with natural refrigerants such as ammonia, CO₂ and propane, and you are responsible for independently carrying out service, maintenance and breakdown work on high-quality industrial refrigeration systems. You work at locations in the Netherlands and abroad, with plenty of contact with clients and colleagues.

Your duties include, among others:

• Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial refrigeration systems.
• Locating, analysing and independently resolving faults.
• Carrying out repairs, technical modifications and optimisations.
• Inspecting, testing, commissioning and keeping refrigeration installations in operation.
• Identifying technical points for improvement and advising the client on possible solutions.
• Carefully reporting on work carried out, technical findings and any deviations identified.
• Coordinating work with the client and with colleagues within the organisation.

• A permanent employment contract with good terms of employment in accordance with the Metal and Engineering Collective Labour Agreement (CAO Metaal en Techniek).
• A salary between €3,500 and €6,000 gross per month, depending on experience.
• 25 holiday days and 13 ADV days (working time reduction days) for full-time employment, and an excellent pension scheme.
• Travel time is fully compensated as working time, supplemented by an appropriate foreign allowance.

Who we are looking for

You are an experienced and technically versatile engineer who enjoys working independently and taking responsibility. You are accustomed to analysing faults systematically and resolving technical issues on site on your own. You switch easily between clients and colleagues and know how to act professionally and representatively in an international working environment.

In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:

• Secondary vocational (MBO) or higher professional (HBO) education level in Refrigeration Technology, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, AOT (General Operational Engineering), Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
• Holder of an F-gas certificate category 1.
• Demonstrable experience with refrigeration installations, preferably within industrial refrigeration.
• Knowledge of and experience with natural refrigerants is a strong asset.
• Technical analytical ability and a solution-oriented attitude.
• Customer-oriented, communicative and professional in dealing with clients.
• Willingness to travel internationally and to plan and organise business trips independently.
• Holder of a category B driving licence.
